This one-of-one Ecto Selecto release places MF DOOM into the framework of early tobacco-era portrait cards, drawing direct inspiration from the 1909–1911 T206 aesthetic. The result is a restrained, lithograph-style rendering that emphasizes texture, tone, and presence over spectacle.

The front features a halftone, painterly portrait with a soft gradient field — echoing the simplicity and balance of original tobacco cards. DOOM’s mask becomes the focal point, rendered with subtle tonal variation rather than high contrast, allowing it to sit naturally within the vintage format.

The reverse continues the illusion with a custom “Hip-Hop Series” back, built to mirror early card typography and layout conventions while grounding the piece in contemporary subject matter.

Encapsulated in a custom Ecto Selecto slab with branded label and precision-fit insert, this is intended as a finished display object — not just a card, but a contained piece of art.
